This gets Listed for the new double piano concerto Nico Muhly has written for the Labèque sisters and the New York Philharmonic. But Jaap van Zweden has really put together a good program here to go along with the Muhly: some Debussy (warhorses — but great ones) and the Prelude and Liebstod from Tristan, to show Debussy’s love/hate relationship with Wagner. (I’ve got 99 problems with Jaap — but Wagner ain’t one.)
