A little Easy Listening for this List, but Avner Dorman’s treatment of old Chasidic melody has gotten a great reception worldwide in both its original sonata form and the concerto form being played tonight. Violinist Lara St. John and The Knights should do it justice. As for the rest, well I’ll admit that I personally really enjoy Mendelssohn’s Scottish Symphony if you promise not to tell anyone.

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT: You will be let out into Manhattan’s worst neighborhood for dining and drinking. I throw up my hands.
