Harpist/inventor/explorer Zeena Parkins does a four-show two-night stand in the Catacombs. Each show — all featuring Parkins and drummer/explorer Brian Chase — is different. Early Wednesday, Parkins and Chase each performs solos. Late Wednesday, Parkins and Chase perform duos. Early Thursday, Parkins performs duos with Chase and with bassist Brandon Lopez. Late Thursday — my pick — are duos, trios, and a quartet among Parkins, Chase, Lopez, and Ka Baird on flute.
