A bunch of musicians you want to hear (Vicky Chow! Marilyn Nonken! Adam Tendler! And I’m leaving a lot out!) pay tribute to the hugely tribute-worthy Philip Glass by playing his music and music by others, often responding to Glass. Some of those others make sense: Nico Muhly, Ann Southam, of course Glass frenemy Steve Reich. Some of them sort of make sense: Victoria Bond, Jonathan Dawes. One seems bonkers in this context: Charles Wuorinen.
