Concluding Bargemusic’s Labor Day New Music Festival is this two-day stand of a mixed bill featuring, among many other things, Wendy Sutter playing some of the gorgeous solo cello pieces Philip Glass wrote for her; and the world premieres of a piano sonata by Roberto Sierra, whose Latin-inflected mainstream classical is arresting in the extreme, and — it’s such a blessing the composer is still active and productive — a violin/cello piece by the mighty Adolphus Hailstorck.
