This week’s Santu-Matthias Rouvali showcase features a new piece by the time-suspending Anna Thorvaldsdottir. And the Standard Rep segment of the program isn’t too shabby either: The Rite of Spring (no less) and Prokofiev’s enchanting Second Violin Concerto (how can people say he wasn’t a melodist?) played by the hirsute Nemanja Radulović.
