Sandbox Percussion plays brand new pieces by Chris Cerrone (another composer who would be a household name if we had a healthy classical music culture) and Viet Cuong (no slouch himself). Older stuff by people like Julius Eastman (CORRECTION: there’s NOBODY like Julius Eastman), Andy Akiho, Amy Beth Kirsten, and Juri Seo. This is looking pretty major.
