A set by sinonó, the rather irresistible collaboration between vocalist Isabel Crespo Pardo, cellist Lester St. Louis, and bassist Henry Fraser, with songforms by Crespo interspersed among free improvisations. And one by Abacoa, a trio featuring the organizer of this series, bassist Kenneth Jimenez, with Dave Liebman rather excitingly sitting in on soprano sax.
