Bach’s and Buxtehude’s, that is. And while you probably know Bach’s, you’re in for a treat if you’ve never spent time with Buxtehude’s. Especially when sung and played by the resplendent Belgian Vox Luminis ensemble. (FUN FACT: there was a period when this List was written as I plowed through a set of Buxtehude’s complete works.) (FUN FACT: I spared you the story of Bach’s having walked hundreds of miles to hear Buxtehude play the organ.)
