The big news is that, on this tour, the founder of this chamber orchestra and magnificent choir, John Eliot Gardiner, is being replaced by someone who doesn’t hit musicians. Speaking of magnificent, on Wednesday they do Bach’s Mass in B Minor. On Thursday, they do Handel’s less magnificent (but more fun) L’Allegro, il Penseroso ed il Moderato. Be there. Aloha.
