Colombian musicians from Colombia and Colombian musicians from New York. And among the ones from Colombia is María Valencia, who plays winds, keyboards, and percussion with the fabulous Meridian Brothers from Bogotá, but has more than Fake Tropical up her sleeve. And among the ones from New York is pianist Ricardo Gallo, who plays sharp Modern Jazz when he isn’t going all loquísimo with electronic post-Cumbia or something.
