Ted Hearne is a composer with a strong feel for the vernacular (when he lost the Pulitzer to Kendrick Lamar, he said something to the effect that it was the only sound result). For these new settings of Dorothea Lasky — OMG this List loves Dorothea Lasky — Hearne (and a banging band) will be joined on vocals and electronics by Eliza Bagg (another classical artist who more than dabbles in pop music).
