Mainstream ballet (unlike say the orchestras) is doing a pretty good job of updating itself. But still, every bit helps. So Ballet Collective, a newish company dedicated to that mission, presents a new ballet by Troy Schumacher, inspired by a table-top role-playing game, with music (played live) by Phong Tran. And another new ballet, by Omar Román De Jesús, with music (played live by the Bergamot Quartet) by Robert Honstein.
