Shara Lunon’s song cycle explores marginalization and oppression and the survival tactics that have been devised in response — with the help of Chris Williams, Kalia Vandever, Lester St. Louis, 13th Law, Lesley Mok, and a gigantic braided wig that functions as a light-reactive synthesizer.

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT: In person, a new bar around the corner from Roulette! The Little Pig. Streaming at home, have a Metropolitan: pour 2 oz. Brandy, 1 oz. sweet Vermouth, and and 1/2 tsp. Simple Syrup, with 2 dashes Angostura bitters, into an ice-filled cocktail shaker. Stir. Strain into a Martini glass or coupe.
