Amidst an installation by Jacolby Satterwhite (who’s pretty great himself) multidisciplinary musical performances will occur. Tonight is a double bill. I always found Lafawandah’s devotional Arabic Electropop insipid. But then she dropped a track called “The Dawn of Everything” that roughens up the edges a bit, and actually does everything she’s always claimed: this music is cosmic. Electronic popster Nightfeelings is banal.
