An all-star (well, stars on The List) (and be warned: not nearly as starry as on the album of which this concert is an offshoot) band plays big band arrangements of the wonderful music of Moondog, maybe the most Inside Outsider artist in the history of Western classical music (I mean, he hung with Mitropoulis; he recorded with Julie Andrews).

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT: In person, neighborhood French at French Louie. Streaming at home, have a Midnight Moon: pour 1/2 oz. each of Cognac, Amaretto, and white Crème de Cacao into an ice-filled cocktail shaker. Stir. Strain into a chilled Martini glass or coupe. Top with Champagne.
