New York’s most enterprising neighborhood orchestra is so enterprising that when their music director left, they decided to go forward as a conductorless collective. This is a typically attractive program from them, with sparkling French Neo-Classicism from Françaix; old-fashioned contemporary music from Iván Enrique Rodríguez that actually sounds like it proceeds from things like the Françaix; contemporary New Yawk from Jessica Meyer; and one of the better pieces from the good side — the delicate, unbombastic side — of Respighi, the Trittico Botticelliano.
