This is where this series of Latine art music really kicks into high gear. Stefa marin alarcon does great Punk/Hip Hop. LOPEZLOPEZ are of course bassist Brandon Lopez and multidisciplinary artist/electronicist Cecelia Lopez, who don’t think as one only because they have the same last name. And vocalist Isabel Crespo Pardo is an experimental artist with truly broad appeal; wouldn’t it be great if they somehow became popular like, say, Laurie Anderson?

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT: You can whine that Rosa Mexicano isn’t nearly as good as it used to be, and I’ll whine right along with you. But it isn’t affirmatively bad.
