Electronic musician Laurel Halo’s very good new album almost veers into Chamber Pop. Which makes the noisy droney cellist Leila Bordreuil an odd choice as a collaborator for this live realization — but an interesting one. No one could accuse local electronics hero Hiro Kone of veering into Chamber Pop, that’s for sure.
