You just have to tell this List that Ben Richter is showcasing a new piece for accordion in just intonation and we’re ON IT. Lily Guarneros Maase y Curandera sound like they’re going to be folkie shit with an agenda, but no: they take their sources and make something fresh.

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT: In person, nice Venezuelan at Casa Ora. Streaming at home, have an Accordion: pour 1-1/2 oz. Brandy and 1/2 oz. each of dry and sweet Vermouth, with 2 tsp. Cointreau, into an ice-filled cocktail shaker. Stir. Strain into a chilled Martini glass or coupe.
