Mehrnam Rastegari, master of the Iranian string instrument known as the Kamancheh (sort of a smaller, more nasal cello), plays a kind of Iranian folk-pop — and it is GORGEOUS. This show promises to be more trad, as Rastegari leads a slightly tardy celebration of the Persian solstice holiday Yalda.
