Lindley and Dragonetti were a wildly popular cello/bass duo in the Classical-into-Romantic period in London. They delighted audiences with renditions of Corelli (hard to believe he was remembered then, when Bach was largely forgotten) and their own now largely forgotten compositions. Expert period instrumentalists Nathan Whittaker and Nathaniel Chase give us a glimpse into this appealing repertory.
