A typically well-thought-out and broad ranging recital from Jeremy Denk — which we can expect will be typically beautifully played. The Romantic stuff is more than counterbalanced by Missy Mazzoli(!), Meredith Monk(!), Tania León, Ruth Crawford Seeger, and Phyllis Chen. And the Romantic stuff includes Louise Farrenc and Cécile Chaminade, whom you don’t get to hear everyday (and the French did Romantic better than the rest of Europe anyway).
