You naturally get suspicious of critic’s bands — but Sasha Frere-Jones isn’t just any critic, and Ui aren’t Christopher Milk. (Also they did their initial rehearsals in the loft of a List college friend.) Having G. Geddes Gengras and Grey McMurray’s Xylosma as an opening act is pretty um classy.
