Esa-Pekka Salonen stops by to conduct his new clarinet concerto — played by the Phil’s superb principal, Anthony McGill. The canny programmer also offers Berio’s Post-Modern take-off of Boccherini, Four Original Versions of Boccherini’s “Ritirata notturna di Madrid”.And Beethoven’s galavanic Symphony No. 7.

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT: You can make it to Kwame Onwuachi’s in-house Afro-Caribbean restaurant Tatiana (not to be confused with the one in Brighton Beach) for dinner after the Wednesday and Thursday concerts; after the Saturday you can get bar snacks. As for Friday, it’s not open for lunch. So maybe Épicerie Boulud.
