The excellent Baroque violinist Enrico Gatti joins with the ARTEK Ensemble to recreate the sounds heard at the Queen Christina-inspired Arcadian Academy of Rome, whose principal composers were Corelli, whom you’ve definitely heard of; Alessandro Scarlatti, whom you might have heard of (you’ve definitely heard of his son); and Pasquini, whom I’d be surprised if you’ve heard of.
