Superflautist Claire Chase celebrates the 10th year (not even the halfway point!) of her epochal 24-year Density 2036 project — commissioning a series of new solo (and soloish) flute pieces to stand with Varèse’s mighty Density 21.5, with the project finally culminating on the 100th anniversary of Density 21.5’s premiere — with reprises of all the previous nine installments, leading up to Thursday night’s performance of this year’s new one.
