Pianist (and chanter) Paul Barnes is joined by Native American flautist Ron Warren and shakuhachi player James Nyoraku Schlefer to play a lot of Warren (including the piece that gives this program its title), some Schlefer, and some Philip Glass. Schlefer will also be joined by a string trio to play a piece by Victoria Bond, who runs this festival. And the two flautists will unite for a joint improvisation.
