This Gelsey Bell-curated series in Green-Wood’s Catacomb starts off with Susie Ibarra — very much a percussionist with a brain — who in turn starts out with a percussion ensemble processional leading into a four-part solo piece. Whether making melifluous use of extended percussion techniques or exploring her Filipina heritage, Ibarra is never less than excellent to listen to.
