A new set of pieces by the wide-ranging trumpeter Marquis Hill for his trumpet, spoken word, rhythm section, and cello.

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT: In person, fancy Austrian at Koloman. Streaming at home, have a Chicago: rim a Martini glass or coupe with powdered sugar. Pour 1-1/2 oz. Brandy, 1/8 teaspoon of Curaçao, and 1 dash of Angostura bitters into an ice-filled cocktail shaker. Stir. Strain into the chilled rimmed glass. Top with Champagne.
