Austin percussion trio line upon line performs new pieces written for them by, among others, Laura Steenberghe. Steenberghe, a composer who likes to wring strange instrumental sounds out of strange instruments (I believe she actually plays the viola d’amore) and then also writes songs that sound like Connie Converse, will do a set of her own. Also, Dominic Coles will play a set of his piquantly incisive, playful in its way electronic music.
