Bassmaster Mark Dresser hardly needs my commendation. Nothing much to choose between the various excellent programs (although Saturday’s show featuring Anthony Braxton material played with Marilyn Crispell and Gerry Hemingway does seem kind of special).

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT: It’s still nice to go back to the comfortable Emilia-Romagnan food at Da Andrea (do yourself a favor and start with the Tigelle Modenesi con Prosciutto).
