MAKE A NIGHT OF IT: In person, it must seem like I’m getting kickbacks from Italian-Ashkenazic treat Mark’s Off Madison, but really it’s just that I really like their food and want them to do well. Streaming at home, have a Tamarind Whiskey Sour: mix 1 tbs. tamarind paste with 1 tbs. hot water and let cool. Pour 1-1/2 oz. Bourbon, 1 oz. lime juice, 1/2 oz. Simple Syrup, and the cooled tamarind paste/water mixture into an ice-filled cocktail shaker. Shake. Strain into a double rocks glass over ice. Garnish with an orange slice and a cocktail cherry.
