Wow, an actual good program from the Phil. Britten’s atmospheric Four Sea Interludesinto Takemitsu’s differently atmospheric I hear the water dreaminginto the local live premiere of John Luther Adams’s majestic (really: not a platitude) Become Desert. You can do it, guys!

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT: You can just make it to Kwame Onwuachi’s in-house Afro-Caribbean smash Tatiana (not to be confused with the one in Brighton Beach) for dinner after the Thursday show (whether you can get in is another question entirely). Friday, maybe Épicere Boulud. Saturday, astronomically priced but quite delicious Old Skool fancy Italian at The Leopard at Des Artistes.
