You can dismiss Mute Duo’s pedal steel/drums ‘n’ stuff explorations as spacy mush. But I think it’s much more enjoyable to relax and float downstream. As for the opener, there was a guitar pop band called Gift Horse playing in New York City like ten years ago. This couldn’t be them, could it?
