Marta Sanchez is a pianist/composer whose works convey a real personality: you can tell there’s a person behind the music, and you can tell what she’s like, what she thinks about. Or Bareket is a bassist whose music has a distinct Levantine tinge — and, not unrelatedly, can be quite rhapsodic. He’s good enough to have been produced by Joel Ross. And in Savannah Harris, he has one fine drummer.
