An evening of sonic exploration, most but not all of it electronic. Post Moves plays guitar drones — taking one aspect of John Fahey and running very far with it — that sound electronic. Guitarists Wendy Eisenberg and David Grubbs List readers know already. It might not be immediately apparent to readers without long memories that Seminar Shadow comprises multi-instrumentalists Lucie Vítková and Teerapat Parnmongkol, also familiar to List readers. And the electronic duo of Asemix, who helped organize this show, you’ll just love.

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT: We don’t know where this show will be yet. But something tells me you might want to bear in mind Hakka Cuisine, serving the umami-laden and highly textural food of the Hakka people.
