Sita Chay plays Mariachi on violin. She plays Korean, avant- and trad. She plays Modern Jazz. The pick of the week is the premium-priced Multidimensionally Human ensemble on Thursday. I’ve been declining to List previous, more multi-media, iterations of that project, as they’ve been mired in therapeutism (I’m an Old: I think people should be more outer-directed, and instead of devoting their time and energy to figuring themselves out they should devote them to smashing Capitalism). But show me an ensemble including Frank London, Shoko Nagai, and a percussionist, and I’m interested.
