Heather Christian presents a new feminine Mass, springing from the ideas of female Medieval mystics like Hildegard (duh) and Julian of Norwich and (NOT Medieval) Robin Wall Kimmerer), sung by a community chorus of caregivers and makers. As usual with Christian, the music will be eclectic — but instead of her frequent country-folk overtones, this time the inflections will come from Gospel and Neo-Soul. And, of course, Medieval Organum. The power move is to go to the 9:00 AM performance on Saturday — the actual Terce.
