Hard to tell whether these two fine quartets will be collaborating or playing strictly separately. (Well, also hard to tell why you’d put two string quartets on a program together if they weren’t going to play together.) The PUBLIQ is listed as playing one of its regular programs, with some Jessie Montgomery and some Vijay Iyer and some messing around with well-chosen vernacular pieces. As for the rest, there are rumors of Beethoven.
