John Zorn continues the long-ongoing series of concerts he assembles inspired by and in tribute to the towering British improvisational guitarist Derek Bailey. This year, the series is a benefit for Zorn’s Tzadik record label, which recently suffered a reversal owing to the bankruptcy of one of its distributors. As usual, the whole series looks awesome — but take a particularly close look at Saturday night’s lineup.
