St. Thomas Church shows off its great new concert organ and its good older one, as well as a presumably splendid Steinway, with a three-way recital by Jeremy Filsell, David Briggs (NOT the Neil Youngone), and Wayne Marshall playing works by (among others) Langlais, Mozart, Alain, and Bach. (As for the live stream, don’t you dare try to listen to organ music on computer speakers!)

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT: In person,Frenchette goes Uptown and becomes somewhat less interesting at Le Rock. Streaming at home, have an Episcopal Cocktail: pour 1-1/2 oz. green Chartreuse and 3/4 oz. yellow Chartreuse into an ice-filled cocktail shaker. Stir. Strain into an Old Fashioned glass over ice.
