We certainly have our share of Cellists On The Edge here in New York City, but Tokyo/Yokohama’s Hiromichi Sakamoto might outdo them all. Sometimes he does something that sounds like playing a cello — but then the saw or something comes out. Bassist Kato Hideki and harpist Zeena Parkins have been exploring the edges of sound together for decades.
