What I wrote about Amy Williams five years ago remains true today: Amy Williams is a composer I've been kind of crazy for lately.  Her work is kinetic, but also pays attention to such trad concerns as harmony and development.  For tonight’s showcase of chamber music for strings sometimes with piano, Williams — an excellent pianist — has the inestimable advantage of being joined by the peerless JACK Quartet.
