The beginning of a series of concerts each curated by a different artist, tonight’s curator being the invaluable Che Chen. And speaking of invaluable, there’ll be Selendis Sebastian Alexander Johnson doing a solo set on vibes and trombone. And then music and spoken word, with the music led by ex-Sun Ra trumpet player Ahmed Abdullah and the spoken word provided by poet Monique Ngozi Nri.
