MAKE A NIGHT OF IT: In person, I’m not gonna even tell you what El Mil Sabores puts on their Torta Loca sandwich. You have to see it for yourself. Streaming at home, have a Dr. Faust: pour 1-1/2 oz. Mezcal, 3/4 oz. lime juice, 1/2 oz. Grenadine, 1 tsp. Absinthe, and 1 oz. soda water into an ice-filled cocktail shaker. Stir. Pour unstrained (ice and all) into an Old Fashioned glass.
