It’s an oddity that one of the deepest, most profound pieces of Western chamber music — Mozart’s String Trio — was published under the name Divertimento, promising something light and entertaining. One wonders whether the title given this HIP recital is meant to be tongue-in-cheek.

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT: In person, I’m not gonna even tell you what El Mil Sabores puts on their Torta Loca sandwich. You have to see it for yourself. Streaming at home, have a Division Bell: pour 1 oz. Mezcal, 3/4 oz. Aperol, 1/2 oz. Maraschino liqueur, and 3/4 oz. lime juice into an ice-filled cocktail shaker. Shake. Strain into a chilled Martini glass or coupe. Garnish with a grapefruit twist.
