Saxophonist Zoh Amba is like late Coltrane: Free Jazz so ecstatically exalted it shades into Spiritual. Her records are deep experiences — but her concerts are something else again.

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT: In person, nice enough bistro at Bacchus. Streaming at home, have an Sunshine (and pretend it’s three months from now): pour 2 oz. white Rum, 1/2 dry vermouth, 1 oz. pineapple juice, and 1/8 tsp. Grenadine into an ice-filled cocktail shaker. Shake. Strain into a chilled Martini glass or coupe.
