The junior division of Israel's Batsheva Dance Company -- certainly one of the best and most distinctive in the world -- revives a classic piece by the company's recently departed (from the company, not this mortal coil) artistic director, Ohad Naharin -- certainly one of the best and most distinctive (and charismatic!) choreographers in the world. Naharin's Virus (inspired by a play by Peter Handke) was just great -- fascinating, absorbing, thought-provoking -- when Batsheva's principal company did it at BAM several years ago; if you didn't see it then, it would be well worth your while to catch up with it now.
MAKE A NIGHT OF IT: You know what's wrong with the paella at Socarrat? Absolutely nothing.
