You know, the anti-semitic one. The St. John Passion doesn't have the marmoric grandeur of the St. Matthew Passion -- but it has a dramatic flow that its greater, more complex sibling lacks. This isn't going to be done any better in New York this Eastertide than by these sterling forces.
MAKE A NIGHT OF IT: It's one of the doucheyest settings in New York. And they aren't shy about being pricey. But now that Gabriel Kreuther has taken over the kitchen at the Baccarat Grand Salon and installed a menu chock-full of trad Alsatian classics, it's kind of hard to resist.
